

At Hill Crane Service safety is everyone’s top priority. Safety starts with the attitude of each and every employee that starts work. Proir to and employee starting work for Hill Crane Service a safety interview is perfomed with our safety manager discussing job site responsbilittes and expectations on job performance.
Every effort will be made to provide adequate training to our emplyees, the prevention of accidents is a objective affecting all levels of our organization and our activtiies. The intention of Hill Crane Service is to provide a safe and healthy working conditiions and to establish and insist upon practices at all times by all emplyees of Hill Crane Service.
The following are some proceduren and systems Hill Crane Service has put in place to help ensure job site safety,
- Tail Gate Safety Meetings
- 3-point lift inspections
- Quarterly companywide safety meetings
- Strict Anti-drug and Alcohol programs that exceed D.O.T standards
- Daily safety topics
- All employees carry a L.A.R.S.O card (refinery requirement)
- OSHA Inspections forms
- Pretrip inspection of all equipment
- Extensive IIPP and health and safety programs/manuals
This is also a requirement of our salesmen who perform this during the pre-job planning phase. It is here were job site difficulties, and safety concerns should be made aware to the client and dealt with. To help in the pre-job planning phase Hill Crane Service uses a number of different tools from 3D job planning in Auto CAD, to Liebherr Liccon Planner a program supplied by Liebherr Cranes.
We can reconstruct the job site in a virtual 3D computer environment drawn to scale which will allow us to perform the lift in virtual reality and address any questions or concerns that need to be addressed.
